Pursuing His Will

“And your ears will hear a word behind you, “this is the way, walk in it,” whenever you turn to the right or the left.” – Isaiah 30:21.

Pursuing God’s will for my life has been a wonderful, yet difficult task. And honestly, it is going to be difficult for everyone. I mean, for instance, there are some people that will find it easy, but most of the time it will be difficult. The truth of the matter is that whatever God puts on your heart to do, that is His will for your life.

In Isaiah 30:21, Jesus says, “this is the way, walk in it.” When you figure out what God’s will is for your life, you will have found the way, and be able to walk in it. Whether to the right or to the left. But, like I said before, it can be difficult. So, I have come up with a few ways to lighten the burden of finding God’s will.

1. Give your heart to Jesus.

Giving your heart to Jesus is going to make this a whole lot easier for you. By giving your heart to Jesus, you have the full blessing of God in your life! When you accept Jesus into your life by receiving the gospel message, you’ve got it made. And this is the gospel: If you believe you’re a sinner, If you believe that all sin deserves death, And If you believe that Jesus sent His son to die for you, and believe that he rose from the dead 3 days after his burial, you will be saved. So, give your heart to Jesus, so that you can find His will with a clean and Godly heart.

2. Live for Jesus, and Nothing else.

Aside from just giving your heart to Jesus, you also have to give your life to Jesus.  Giving your life to Jesus and living for Him and nothing else, will lighten this backpack of burden. Living for Jesus is the best thing you can do for your life. With Jesus, you have strength when there is no strength. You have light in the dark places of life, because Jesus is your light. Jesus is the light of the world, and He will be the light for your life. So, live for Jesus, and nothing else, and your burden will be lifted.

3.Do all to the Glory of God.

Did you know that you can glorify God by doing His will for your life? It is so true and possible. I would actually say that God’s will for your life, is the best way you can glorify God. If you have read my very first blog post, you would know that it is based on this point. By giving your heart to Jesus, Living for Jesus and nothing else, and Doing all to the glory of God, you will no longer have the burden of trying to find God’s will for your life.

I promise you, giving  your heart and life to Jesus, is going to make your life so much better. In times of trial, and in times of despair, Jesus Christ the son of the living God will be there to save you. Think about this: when you become a Christian by doing these things, your sins have been paid for in full. God sent his one and only son to die on a cross for your sins! What more to be thankful for, and live your life for. Jesus, is the total truth, and by coming to Him, by giving your heart to Him, by living for Him and nothing else, and by doing all to the glory of God, you will be on the verge of finding God’s will for your life.

Keep pursuing God’s will, get into His word, and do all to the glory of God.
