Life Update: A Busy Season

If you’re like me, sometimes life gets busy and it can become a lot to manage time, resources, and responsibilities. These last two weeks have been really busy yet rewarding at the same time. I recently moved from an apartment in Annapolis to my friend’s home in the same city, and even though the Navy helped me move, it was still a lot to manage. It was stressful because the previous renter was giving my friend a tough time about leaving, and they literally left the same day that my things were moved in!

After this, I’ve been helping around the house by throwing a lot of old stuff away, cleaning and painting. One major task we recently completed was spider-bombing the basement because since it is unfinished and not well lit, the spiders decided that would become their home. We had a successful eradication mission and are slowly beginning to make the basement a more livable space.

Because of all this, these last two weeks for support-raising had to take a backseat for a while. Now that I am settled in, I can regain momentum and start to have more meetings. Next Monday I’ll start classes at DTS, and I am excited for that! I will be taking classes on Bibliology & Theology Methods, Bible Study & Hermeneutics, and Counseling Theory.

As I start these courses and continue to raise support, please pray for a couple of things on my behalf:

  • That God would bring supporters to close the gap of 30% remaining
  • Strength & focus to start classes well

Thank you all so much for your support! Knowing that I’ve got people like you in my life keeps me going, even when life gets busy 🙂
